Whether you dream of becoming a nurse, EMT, dentist, or you’re just curious about health careers, MedSplash is your chance to dive in, try things out, and find your path.

Program Details

When: Two weeks at the end of June (exact dates announced in February)

Where: Lane Community College

Who Can Apply: Current 9th-11th grade students in Lane County

Cost: Free! Lunch is included and transportation support is available

What You’ll Do

  • Practice real clinical skills like taking vitals, wrapping injuries, and stopping a bleed

  • Tour local healthcare facilities including a hospital, clinic, and even a fire station

  • Meet healthcare pros from more than 15 different fields including nursing, EMT, radiology, dental assisting, behavioral health, and more

  • Make new friends from schools across Lane County who share your interests

  • Get inspired about your own path into a health career
